Spandan is entering the fourth year of service in this year 2024. Due its dedicated service for the aged people and children it is getting good support from the community.

Keeping in mind the vulnerability of elders we distribute food, medicine & new cloths every year to them before Durga Puja.

1st year – Debra Medinipur – Total Strength 145 poor people
2nd year – Jhargram, Gopiballavpur – Total Strength 220 poor and disabled child
3rd year –Shyamchowk, Keshpur – Total Strength 450 poor and handicapped child

We distribute new books and copies along with other related study materials to those students who are very below poverty level – Some do not have parents, few are not having their father, someone’s father is driver, someone’s father is Sabjiwala, Muchiwala, Safaiwalaetc.etc.

Beyond Meals

Securing investments that strengthen communities thorough constructive, collaborative and innovative engagements with parents have always been our topmost agenda. From last few years, Spandan is trying to get in touch with both public and private sectors to maximize the impact and influence of its projects and programs across the country.

Future Projection

Spandan is eager to buy a land to make a home for aged people who have lost their house due to lots of reasons. Want to prepare one sweet home for them where they will have varieties of activities like a normal aged citizen does.

Tour

Special tours for elderly will be organized to historical or religious places with the aim to fulfil their dream and reward them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. These tours shall give elders an opportunity to explore places they always wanted to visit but never could during their busy lives. The tour helps senior citizen find peace, joy, relaxation and rejuvenates them. This also helps to tackle the problem of neglect, boredom …. Cultural Program with Senior Citizens The potential of the senior citizens and is involving them in various activities. Cultural programs are organized by Spandan.

Yoga Classes

Yoga is an ancient practice that builds strength and awareness and brings together the mind and body. It enables one to confront the innermost mental blocks and helps embrace creative and unique ways of problem-solving. The increased self-confidence makes one surer of oneself, allowing to be confident in our professional decisions. By the practice of Joga, Exercise, Swimming etc. we can keep them fit mentally in parallel way physically
